Svetlana A. Vergeenko

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Born November 15, 1969 in Gomel. In 1986, she graduated from high school in Mozyr. In the same year she entered the Mozyr State Pedagogical Institute named after NK Krupskaya on the faculty of pedagogy and methodology of elementary education and graduated with honors in 1990, then worked as a primary school teacher.
Since 1995 worked as assistant chair technique of elementary education Mozyr State Pedagogical Institute named after NK Krupskaya. In 1997, she graduated from the correspondence department named Institute as "Belarusian language and literature" and from that time worked as assistant chair of the Belarusian literature.
Since 2000 he works in Gomel State University, first as an interpreter of the newspaper "Gomel University," then a laboratory department of the Belarusian literature, research assistant. Since 2007 - assistant of the Belarusian culture and folklore.
In 2010 she defended her thesis "The motives of the Belarusian medical orders: structural and functional aspect (on the materials of folklore Gomel region)" (supervisor -Doctor of Philology, Professor Nowak Valentine Stanislavovna).
S.A. Vergeenko is the author of over 60 scientific papers on topical issues of folklore, including the monographs "Traditions of material and spiritual culture of the eastern Polissya: problems in the study, preservation and development of the Chernobyl postcherno-time" (co-author), "Mozyr. 850 year : In 3 vols third primordial wisdom piggy bank: current state of the traditional culture of Mozyr "(co-author)," Homeland song: folk spiritual treasures Buda-Koshelev edge: monograph "(co-author)," The Sea- ocean, on the island of Buyan ...
