About the Department

Head - Doctor of Philology, Professor Steiner Ivan. The department has 12 teachers, including 2 doctors of philology and 6 candidates of philology.

Department of the Belarusian literature created in 1970 by separating the Department of Literature at the Department of Russian Literature and Belarusian literature. Prior to 1983, he headed the Department PhD, professor Grinchik Nikolai Mikhailovich. He founded scientific and pedagogical school, "Regional, national and universal in the literature: the spiritual heritage of the Belarusians in the global context" today continues to operate under the direction of head of department, Doctor of Philology, Professor Shteynera Ivan.
