Protoslavic fund" under the scientific supervision of Professor Raisa M. Kozlova.

The Head of The Russian, General and Slavonic Linguistics Department Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The author of more than 200 scientific and educational works, dictionaries and reference books in the field of Russian and East phraseology and lexicology, gender linguistics, ethnolinguistics and mythology. His works are published in scientific journals of Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany. The member of Belarussian Slavistics Committee. The Member of XII, XIII and XIV International Congress of Slavists in Krakow (Poland), Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Ohrid (Macedonia). Presidium member of Belarussian Public Association Russian Language and Literature Teachers (BOOPRYAL).

In 1992 he taught Russian at the Beijing Capital Pedagogical University. Vladimir I. Koval supervises by post-graduate students, some candidate thesises on phraseology and ethnolinguistics are defended under his supervision. He is a member of two Committees at candidate thesises defense, at the Belarusian State University. He regularly performs as an opponent for candidate and doctorate thesises, reviews monographs, collections of articles and tutorials, examines school textbooks in Russian.

In 2012 he graduated from graduate school in the Russian Department, General and Slavic Linguistics. Teaching disciplines: computer word processing, linguistica and area studies, Russian as a foreign language, the modern Russian language. The changes in the modern Russian language, primarily in the area of vocabulary and word formation, at the level of the text - the study of the language game and the phenomenon of precedent.
